Ordering our services deems that you accept these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions gives DB Alliance Ltd (aka DBA HOST) authority to terminate your account. DB Alliance Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms And Conditions at any time.
Credit and Payment Terms
DB Alliance Ltd does not provide credit terms on web hosting services. Payment is due on or before the start date or renewal date of your hosting account or domain name.
We offer a 30-day trial period. You can cancel your account within 30 days of opening the account without penalty, however once 30 days has lapsed, you are entitled to no refund.
Renewal notices will be sent to the email address you register with. You are expected to keep that email address up to date so that you can receive renewal notices. Failure to receive a renewal notice because of an inoperable or expired email address is the responsibility of the account holder and not DB Alliance.
You will receive a renewal notice for our services 30-days before the expiry date (60 days in the case of domain names).
When paying by credit/laser card, we will store your credit/laser card details in our billing database in an encrypted format. Our staff can only see the last 4 digits of your credit card number.
When paying by credit/laser card you must be aware that by doing so you give us the authority to charge renewal fees to your credit card on the renewal date. If you do not want this to happen you must inform us before the renewal date, otherwise we will charge your credit card automatically on the renewal date.
When ordering hosting services and paying using the invoice method (i.e. cheque or money order payments), you must get payment to us before your hosting account will be activated. Please allow 3 - 5 business days from receipt for cheques to clear.
When paying annually, you are signing up for a 1 year minimum contract. If you decide to discontinue with our services within the first year, you are still liable for the full annual fee. Each renewal thereafter on an annual payment account commences a further year of service contract.
Late payment fees. If do not pay your invoices on time and your account becomes overdue DB Alliance reserves the right to charge an administration fee for late payment.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. The price you will be charged is the price in your basket when you checkout. We reserve the right to decline business where pricing has been displayed incorrectly. You will be refunded the cost of your purchase only if you make a purchase which is later declined due to incorrect pricing.
Terms and Conditions of Service
We do not permit customers to store Warez, Crackz, illegal / copyrighted MP3 or similar audio or video files, pornographic material / adult content. We reserve the right to immediately remove such content.
Sending Unsolicited Bulk Email (UBE) or Spamming is not allowed. If you do so we reserve the right to suspend your account immediately.
If your site contains any illicit material, defamatory or libelous material, copyrighted material which you are not permitted to store on your account or in any way contravenes Irish or European laws, you are responsible. Any such violations brought to our attention will result in the immediate suspension of your hosting account.
We provide you with usernames and passwords for ftp, email, control panel, etc. When we provide you with a password we are doing so on the basis that you will never divulge those usernames and passwords to other persons. You must store your usernames and passwords in a secure way so that unauthorized persons cannot discover them.
In cases where the activity of your hosting account has an adverse affect on other sites of other customers (for example due to excessive bandwidth or CPU usage), we reserve the right to suspend the account.
When your account is terminated, we will delete all files, including web pages, images and emails.
